Its Friday
I see my love in a few hours...
In less than 3 hours my dad departs for ShenYang-China...
I've never left Africa...in fact I've never even been out of South Africa, i'm nervous for my dad, and a little friggin scared to be honest!
Teaching in a different country is probably one of the biggest opportunities he will get, since finding work here in RSA has been a problem, i know he'll do great...but i'm not going to lie, even though him & i have had a difficult relationship for a while, i'm going to miss him like crazy!
Tonight it'll be a little bit difficult to sleep as he travels to his first stop in Dubai, knowing that he doesn't know ANYONE in the far away places...

*chews nails*
I'm trying not to think about all of the things that could possibly go wrong

Sorry for not posting anything in like forever...my amazing 15 watchers  (who even knew there were so many of you)
its been a good few months, i FINALLY built up the courage and donated blood (whoop whoop)... Just thought i'd take a moment and share my brain fart :

A lot of us go through life without noticing the little things or without being thankful for them... i'm not judging i mean i am a model example of one those people .

I wake up most days with the state of mind "i don't want to be awake, never mind alive right now" pssssh who the fudge do i think i am???  I know i'm dead tired 80% of the time, but heaven knows there are people who wished they'd made it to the age of 23!

I look around me some days and see people walking around as if they have NOTHING to smile about and YES sometimes i am that person, but have they taken a moment to just look up and see that the sun rose that morning? that their eyes opened that morning? that they were given another day to embrace life and somehow make their imprint in this world???  

Now i know i'm not one to talk, but as of today i'm going to start loving the little things in life... 
1. This morning i woke up
2. Even though i'm freezing here in my office i AT LEAST have a job
3. When i got to work at 06:50am this morning, i got to see a beautiful sunrise
4. Today marks 8 amazing months with my soul mate
5. My mom is still around for me to ask her to bring me lunch later today when she comes in to the office 
6. I have so many people that love me, some that i don't even acknowledge 
7. I know when i get home this afternoon, without a doubt my niece's little face will light up with excitement because i'm FINALLY home.
8. I have a loyal. respectful, honest man in my life and we have an effortlessly amazing relationship which i can only thank God for blessing me with. 
9. I slept so well last night (for the first time this week) that for once i woke up not feeling brain dead
10. Some random ass person out there decided that putting some leaves in a cup would result in some epic tasting liquid... yes i'm being thankful for my warm cup of tea!!

happy 8th montheversary my lovebug, here's to many friggin more huggles, squishles, glomps and smiles! i love your face!  

So its been a good 3 months since my last journal...sorry bout that!
Life has been a little busy, apart from my 11 hour work shifts just so i can survive, its been good.
I now own four beautiful tarantula's, one of which my gorgeous boyfriend Green-EyedTiger  bought me for sticking around for 5 months 
apart from Anala(my mexican fire leg which we co-own) i now have Rowan my beautiful teeny tiny PinkToe(Avicularia avicularia), a curly hair tarantula(Brachypelma albopilosum) named Yuno cause duh (my puffin named his Yuki, yes we are referring to Mirai Nikki characters), and my cutie pie Lyssa a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula (Grammostola rosea) she's a bit of a bitch but i'm pretty sure that'l change when she's a little bigger..
We got them all from a Exotic pet & Reptile expo in JHB  which was a TON of fun 
I still REAAAAAAAALLY want a Brazilian black, but they're SO costly here  i guess that's something i'll be saving for (yay )
other than that my life consists of work, seeing my boyfriend and being dead tired 90% of the time!  
I'll be sure to post a few photos of my new babies soon, although they all pretty much look identical (pink and stuff)

My babes now has a Brazilian Giant Blonde(Nhandu tripepii) which he is like out of his socks excited about, we now have 8 all together...  

Winter seems to have officially started showing its ugly face over here (frozen fingers for the win ) nobody looks cute in 3 layers of clothing, not even me   

i STILL haven't done my learners, it should be a priority but i am SO not motivated AT ALL  uuuuuuuuuuuugh
meh, it'll get done eventually, Jonathan on the other hand is rocking in the driving department, he be doing so well   

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway i'm rambling

can i just say, being back at work sucks ass! i am so intensely sleepy, i have almost 8 cups of coffee a day and i'm STILL tired!!

So my birthday was on the 15th of December and i didn't really get to do much because i was working

My amazing boyfriend got me a book i'd wanted for my birthday Destined by Aprilynne Pike which i literally finished in 2 days (i mean time spent reading haha), and my fave chocolate (fast forward bars gaaaah they are heaven in a chocolate!!) aaaaand he gave me my fave shirt of his that has this weird piece of velvety material on it which feels SO awesome... ISN'T HE JUST THE FRIGGIN BEST?! I mean really!

Apart from that i had a pretty decent birthday, Jonathan and i went out and watched The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in 3D and it was literally the bomb.com! then we went and had sushi and i converted my puffin... HE NOW LIKES SUSHI and i couldn't be happier , had an epic red velvet waffle from Milky Lane aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand had a good cup of coffee from Maxi's and to top it ALL off i got my baby Mexican Flame Leg Tarantula - Anala and she is the cutest little thing! (i'll add pictures soon...)

i got to spend ALOT of time with my puffin in the holidays(no really i think if there was like 5 days that i didn't see him, its alot) and i enjoyed it insanely lots, getting to know who a person really is in a place they're comfortable really is an eye opener! i learnt how to make these italian thingies called sasetti, and i'm sure thanks to them my grandmother is now an addict!  she keeps asking me to make them again and i sure as shit am not making that stuff on my own!

I really had the BEST holiday thanks to my puffin and his family, really legit never been this happy...
I can only thank God for blessing me with such insanely amazing people, can't imagine how dull life would be like without them!

I've officially decided that February will not pass without me writing a friggin poem or drawing or something! cannot let my talents just die... also need to start studying for my learners ASAP really want to be driving this year i mean i'm 23 need to get that shit done O_O anyone else out there struggle with studying??? i am friggin dreading it i HATE studying more than i hate cooked carrots.

aaaaaaanyway this journal literally took me 2weeks to write (not even kidding it might be longer cause i actually started it the day i got back to work)

literally gonna be all emotional and shit now so if you're tired of reading my soppy love messages now would be a good time to stop hahaha...
